Edit your site with Claude
Ask your own Claude for changes in plain words, check the preview and publish when it looks right.
You don’t need to know how to code. You tell Claude what to change, and it gets the change ready for you to review.
What you need
- A Claude account with access to Claude Code.
- Your GitHub account, with access to your site’s repository.
Step by step
- Open Claude Code on the web (claude.ai/code) and connect your GitHub account. Give it access to your site’s repository.
- Pick the repository and ask for the change in your own words. For example: “Change the text of the home page” or “Add a FAQ section”.
- Claude reads your site’s
CLAUDE.mdfile. It says where everything lives and the rules to follow. - Claude works on a branch, a separate copy of your site, and opens a pull request: the proposed change on GitHub.
- On the pull request, Cloudflare posts a preview link. Open it and check the change on your phone and on a computer.
- If it looks right, merge the pull request. The change goes live in a few minutes.
If something isn’t right, tell Claude in the same conversation and it updates the pull request.
Good habits
- One change per pull request. It’s easier to review and to undo.
- Nothing goes live until you merge. Until then, your site stays as it was.
- For something bigger, like a new page, a server feature or a design change, write to us and we’ll do it together.
